Knight Security Grade 3 Flush Contacts

Knight security provide an extensive range of grade 3 Flush contacts in plastic and aluminium, some models have built in resistor selection for simple FSL installation.

Grade 3 contacts are used in insurance grade 3 installations and are compatible with all hardwired intruder alarm panels - fsl and cc

The XA41MULTI is a 4 terminal white flush contact complete with selectable EOL/Alarm resistors. It will fit a standard 20mm diameter recess, expanding to 22mm if the optional contact sheath is used. The plate fits an area of 22x35mm.

EOL Resistors: 1k, 2k2, 4k1, 4k7, 5k6, 10k.
Alm Resistors: 1k, 2k2, 4k1, 4k7, 5k6, 6k8, 10k.

These resistors cover the majority of leading panel manufacturers including Honeywell, Texecom, HKC, Risco etc.

Tamper protection is provided by a spring loaded microswitch. This will detect removal from the fitted recess. Magnetic interference detection provides Grade 3 functionality.

Fitting screws are provided with this contact for immediate installation from the package.

Operating gap is 14mm approx.

The contact can be wired without the integral resistors (Traditional / 4-Wire) if necessary.

XA41MULTI is suitable for shared zone installation with 2+ contacts.

The YA90 is a potted white flush contact, complete with 1 metre of 8 core cable.

This contact is fits a 25mm diameter recess and operates at a gap of approximately 20mm. The plate is oval, of stainless steel construction and takes an area of approximately 32x58mm.

A dedicated tamper reed in the housing provides magnetic interference detection, meeting the requirement for Grade 3.

EOL Resistors: 1k, 2k2, 4k1, 4k7, 5k6.
Alm Resistors: 1k, 2k2, 4k1, 4k7, 5k6, 6k8.

These resistors cover the majority of leading panel manufacturers including Honeywell, Texecom, HKC, Risco etc. YA90 is unsuitable for 4-wire installations. The integral resistors must be used in the circuit.

Two YA90 contacts can share a zone, depending on the configuration of the alarm panel (see instructions).

YA90 comes complete with fitting screws for immediate installation from the package.
